CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Three Virginia field hockey players were added to the US U-21 Women’s National Team as announced today (March 9) by USA Field Hockey

Sophomores Jan Croon, Meghen Hengerer and Alexndra Morgan were among five players added to the squad following a training camp held Feb. 23-27 in Chula Vista, Calif. The athletes were unable to attend the initial Selection Camp due to injury or travel restrictions and received an additional trial.

Hengerer is a non-traveling reserve for the U21 team competing in the 2021 FIH Hockey Junior World Cup with its rescheduled dates of April 1-12 at North-West University in Potchefstroom, South Africa.

Additionally, junior Danielle Husar will be competing with Team Canada at the Junior World Cup.
