Three Cavalier Rowers Earn All-America Honors

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Three members of the Virginia rowing program earned 2022 Division I Pocock Racing Shells All-America honors.

Nicola Lawless and Leia Till were named to the Pocock Racing Shells All-America second team, while Lauren Orr earned honorable mention honors.

Lawless, Till and Orr helped the Cavaliers to their 12th consecutive ACC championship and 21st overall in the 22 years of the event. Lawless earned All-ACC first-team honors and Till was named to the second team.

Orr helped UVA’s Second Varsity Eight to a sixth-place finish at this year’s NCAA Championships, while Lawless, Till and the Varsity Eighth placed 12th as the Cavaliers finished ninth in the team standings.
