Twelve Hoos Earn Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Honors

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Twelve members of the Virginia softball team earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2021-22 academic year it has been announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association with the release of its annual team.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the most recently completed academic year.

The Cavaliers posted one of the best seasons in program history last year, tying the program record with 13 wins in ACC play on the way to a sixth-place finish and advanced to the postseason with an appearance at the National Invitational Softball Championship.
