Virginia Softball Releases 2022 Fall Ball Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia softball team released its fall ball schedule on Wednesday (Sept. 14) with a slate that includes four home dates in addition to the annual Blue-Orange Series to close out fall camp.

The Cavaliers will open with a doubleheader at Radford against Radford and Emory & Henry (Oct. 1). Virginia will host single games at home against UVA Wise (Oct. 7) and Liberty (Oct. 28). The Cavaliers will go on the road for single games at Liberty (Oct. 4) and Maryland (Oct. 21). Virginia will also travel to face Longwood and JMU in a doubleheader hosted by Longwood (Oct. 15).

The fall camp will close with the annual Blue-Orange series that will be a best-of-five series. Games are set to begin on Nov. 5 and run through Nov. 12.

All home games will be played at Palmer Park and admission is free and open to the public.

Oct. 4 at Liberty – 4 p.m.
Oct. 7 vs. UVA Wise – 5 p.m.
Oct. 15 at Longwood/vs. JMU (DH) – 11 a.m./1 p.m.
Oct. 18 vs. Liberty – 4:15 p.m.
Oct. 21 at Maryland – 6 p.m.
Oct. 28 vs. Liberty – 4 p.m.
Nov. 5 – 12 Blue-Orange Series – Times TBA
