On Saturday, members of the @UVAMensLax, @UVAWrestling and @UVAWomensHoops teams (to name a few) took part in the Gene Arnold Memorial run to benefit Special Olympics. Some of the teams competed, some provided technical support, some provided encouragement to the Special Olympians participating in the walk. Some, like the men’s lacrosse team, provided technical support and encouragement to their head coach. The Cavaliers have been involved in this event for over a decade and it is always a favorite of the student-athletes, even with its pre-dawn report time.
