Annie McDonough Selected for NFHCA Senior Game
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia field hockey grad student Annie McDonough has been named to the 2022 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Team, as announced today (Oct. 20) by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
Thirty-eight players across All five NCAA Division I regions are represented on the list of 2022 honorees. The selected student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coach and were chosen based on their career accomplishments. The selected seniors are given the opportunity to represent their institution while competing against their peers. This year, the Division I Senior Game will take place in conjunction with the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship in Storrs, Connecticut.
The Senior Game is projected for 2:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the University of Connecticut.
Senior midfielder Adele Iacobucci was named as an alternate for the game.
