Virginia Women’s Squash Hosts Chatham and Drexel
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 7 Virginia women’s squash team (3-2) hosts No. 24 Chatham on Saturday (Jan. 14) at 1 p.m. and No. 3 Drexel on Sunday (Jan. 15) at 1 p.m. at the McArthur Squash Center.

ABOUT THESE HOOS
- The Cavaliers won their last two matches in the fall, including a 9-0 victory over Williams on December 4.
- UVA is home for its next three matches.
- The match against Drexel will be the first MASC match for the women this season.
- Sydney Maxwell leads the Cavaliers with four wins this season. She has wins at the three, four and five positions on the ladder.
- Meagan Best, Maureen Foley and Olivia Walsh all have three wins so far this season. Walsh is currently 3-0 on the year.
AGAINST CHATHAM
- This will be the second meeting between UVA and Chatham.
- Virginia is 1-0 against Chatham, with a 7-0 victory last season on Jan. 29, 2022.
AGAINST DREXEL
- This will be the sixth meeting between Virginia and Drexel.
- UVA is looking for its first win in the series as Drexel leads 5-0.
- In the last meeting, Drexel edged UVA, 5-4, on Feb. 6, 2022, in the MASC Championships.
