CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Former Virginia standout and West Bromwich Albion forward, Daryl Dike, has been named to the U.S. Men’s National Team roster of 24 players for two Concacaf Nations League games at the end of March.

Dike has been capped eight times for the U.S. Men’s National Team and scored three goals over the course of his international career.

The USMNT is set for a return to familiar territory for Dike when they take on El Salvador at Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Fla. Dike made his international debut in Orlando on January 31, 2021 when he came on as a reserve in a 7-0 victory over Trinidad & Tobago. The venue also served as his home turf during his time with Orlando City S.C. (2020-2021).

As a two-year member of the Cavalier program, Dike appeared in 36 games, scored 15 goals and assisted on nine others. He had a breakout season in 2019 and helped Virginia reach the NCAA National Championship game. He earned All-America honors from three national publications and was the NCAA College Cup’s Most Outstanding Player after scoring three goals in two College Cup matches. He went on to sign a Generation Adidas deal and was the fifth overall selection of Orlando City Sci in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.
