No. 9 Virginia Plays at No. 13 Miami and Florida State This Weekend

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –  The No. 9 Virginia women’s tennis team (12-3, 5-1 ACC) plays a pair of weekend matches in Florida, taking on No. 13 Miami (9-3, 4-1 ACC) on Friday, March 24 at 1 p.m. in Coral Gables, Fla. The Cavaliers close out the weekend playing at No. 35 Florida State (9-6, 2-3 ACC) on Sunday, March 26 at noon.

NOTING THE CAVALIERS

• Virginia moved up two spots in this week’s ITA computerized rankings, returning to the top-10 at No. 9
• Virginia brings a six-match win streak into Friday’s action
• Elaine Chervinsky and Natasha Subhash remained in the top-10 of the doubles rankings at No. 9. They are 15-3 as a doubles team this year
• Julia Adams and Mélodie Collard are at No. 11 in the doubles
