CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 12 Virginia women’s lacrosse team (8-4) closes out its non-conference slate at VCU (6-6) on Wednesday (April 5) in Richmond, Va.

  • UVA is coming off a loss at No. 1 Syracuse on Saturday (April 1).
  • Junior Morgan Schwab had her eighth multiple assist game, dishing out five against the Orange.
  • Graduate student Ashlyn McGovern has scored multiple goals in 11 of the 12 games and has at least one point in all 12 contests.
  • Sophomore Rachel Clark and senior Jaime Biskup have also scored at least one point in all 12 games.
  • Sophomore Kate Miller has jumped into the top 10 in the ACC with 19 assists. Miller has multiple assists in the last four games.


  • Virginia and VCU are meeting for the third time in series history.
  • UVA and VCU began this series in 2021. Both previous games have been played in Charlottesville.
  • The Cavaliers won the most recent meeting, 23-5, on April 6, 2022.
  • Senior Kiki Shaw led UVA with four goals, McGovern and Clark both had three. Miller had three assists with two goals in the 2022 contest.
