CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia men’s tennis junior Chris Rodesch was named the ACC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week in honors announced Tuesday (April 11) by the Atlantic Coast Conference.

This is the fourth time this season that Rodesch has been named the conference’s player of the week.

Rodesch picked up his third top 10 singles win of the season with a 6-4, 6-7 (4), 10-4 victory against No. 9 Andres Martin of Georgia Tech on Sunday. He also had a straight-set victory against Ryuhei Azuma of Clemson on Friday.

Rodesch has won his last eight singles matches and finished out conference play with a 9-1 record.
