CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – USRowing announced University of Virginia rising junior Sky Dahl is part of the PR3 mixed four with coxswain that will represent the U.S. at the 2023 World Rowing Championships Sept. 3-10 in Belgrade, Serbia.

Dahl joins veterans Saige Harper, Alex Flynn and Emilie Eldracher and newcomer Ben Washburne on the PR3 crew, which was selected through the PR3 selection camp held on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.

“This year’s squad is a strong combination of experienced veterans and very promising newcomers,” said Para High Performance Director Ellen Minzner. “I am excited to see how they will evolve over the next couple of months and through next year in the lead-up to the Paralympic Games.”

Dahl helped UVA’s Second Varsity Eight to the ACC title and 10th-place finish at the NCAA Championship. She was also named to the All-ACC Academic team.

The 2023 World Rowing Championships will be held Sept. 3-10 in Belgrade and are the first opportunity for countries to qualify boats for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
