Four Virginia incoming first-year student-athletes concluded action at the 2023 World Rowing Under 19 Championships at the Vaires-sur-Marne Nautical Stadium in Paris, France.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Four Virginia incoming first-year student-athletes concluded action at the 2023 World Rowing Under 19 Championships at the Vaires-sur-Marne Nautical Stadium in Paris, France.

Kennedy Housley and Ava Schetlick helped the United States’ women’s eight to a fourth-place finish behind Great Britain (6:26.00), Germany (6:26.09) and Romania (6:26.14) with a time of 6:26.24.

Lila Henn was part of the United States’ women’s quad that finished fifth behind Germany (6:45.32), Italy (6:45.67), Great Britain (6:48.04) and Czech Republic (6:48.53) with a time of 6:50.81.

Stella Bittman and her Canadian teammates finished ninth in the women’s four with a time of 7:18.98.
