Virginia Softball Announces Fall Ball Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia softball team released its fall ball schedule on Tuesday (Sept. 19) with four home dates in addition to the annual Blue-Orange series to close out fall camp.

Virginia, which officially begins fall team practice on Thursday, Sept. 28, will host its first game against Hampton on that Saturday (Sept. 30). The Cavaliers will then host two games the following weekend against Liberty (Oct. 6) and Maryland (Oct. 8). The Hoos will then host Radford (Oct. 14) in a doubleheader.

The squad will then play games against Longwood and James Madison at JMU (Oct. 21) before closing out the fall ball schedule at Liberty (Oct. 27). The team will then host an intrasquad scrimmage (Oct. 28) before launching into the Blue-Orange series (Nov. 9 – 11).

All home games will be played at Palmer Park and admission is free and open to the public.
