KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Six members of the Virginia women’s tennis team competed as individuals at the Tennessee Invitational Friday through Sunday in Knoxville, Tenn.
Individuals from Tennessee, Princeton, Ohio State, And Kentucky competed in the tournament.
Grad student Natasha Subhash picked up the 100th singles victory of her career on Saturday, topping Zoe Hammond of Kentucky 6-3, 6-2. She went 3-0 in singles in the tournament.
Meggie Navarro, Blanca Pico-Navarro, Nicole Kiefer, Sara Ziodato and Mélodie Collard also competed in the tournament.
Fall individual season wraps up next week at the 2023 ITA Fall National Championships being held Nov. 1-5 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif. Subhash, Collard, Hibah Shaikh and Annabelle Xu will compete in the doubles draw of the championship while Shaikh will also compete in singles.
