CALGARY, Canada. – Virginia men’s tennis player Iñaki Montes has advanced to the quarterfinals of the Calgary National Bank Challenger, an ATP Challenger 75 tournament being held Nov. 5-12 at the OSTEN & VICTOR Alberta Tennis Centre in Calgary, Alberta.

With the win, Montes cracks the top-500 in the live ATP rankings, moving up to a career-best No. 492. He is 20-7 in 2023 in singles in pro-level matches across ITF World Tennis Tour events and ATP Challengers.

This is Montes’ second time advancing to a Challenger quarterfinal after making it to the third round last year at the Charlottesville Challenger.
