Virginia Welcomes Five In 2024 Signing Class
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia head softball coach Joanna Hardin announced the addition of four players to the program with the release of the latest signing class on Wednesday (Nov. 8).
The most recent signing class includes three players ranked in the Extra Elite Top 100 players by Extra Inning Softball and includes four players ranked among the top 26 at their position. It marks the fifth straight season the Cavaliers have signed at least three players ranked among the top 100 nationally.
The class is ranked No. 33 nationally by Extra Inning Softball.
“The 2024 class adds multiple dimensions to our roster: power, speed, utility and depth in the circle,” Hardin said. “It’s another strong signing class in the books for Wahoo Nation. We believe this group adds to the championship culture and winning expectations set by the previous three signing classes. We look forward to next fall when this group arrives on Grounds and continues the rise of Virginia softball.”
