CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Selection Committee announced Saturday (Nov. 11) that the Virginia men’s and women’s cross country teams have each earned at-large selections to the 2023 NCAA Championships set to be run at the Panorama Farms Cross Country Course on Saturday (Nov. 18). The women’s 6k will be run at 10:20 a.m. followed by the men’s 10k at 11:10 a.m.

The selection comes following the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships where the Cavalier women placed third overall while the Virginia men finished fifth. Two weeks prior, both teams placed third at the ACC Championships.

The Cavalier men earn their first at-large selection to the NCAA Championships since the 2017 season while the UVA women earn their second consecutive at-large bid. The last time both Virginia teams qualified for the NCAA Cross Country Championships via at-large selections was in 2006.

Panorama Farms and XC23
Virginia will host the 2023 NCAA Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships on Saturday (Nov. 18). The championship meet will mark the second time UVA has hosted the event and the first time since the 1987 championships. The meet will be broadcast live on ESPNU beginning at 10 a.m.

Tickets to the NCAA Championships are available now and can be purchased using the “Buy Tickets” link at UVATix.com.

Tickets are $20 and include admission, parking at Fashion Square Mall and round-trip shuttle service to Panorama Farms. There is no on-site parking for the NCAA Championships. All fans must take the shuttle service. Outgoing shuttles begin at 6:45 a.m. and run until 9:30 a.m. Returning shuttles begin at 11 a.m. and run until 1:30 p.m.

All tickets will be sold in advance online; no on-site sales will be available. Tickets to this event are limited and expected to sell out. Patrons are encouraged to purchase early.
