LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 8 Virginia men’s squash team (2-2, 2-0 MASC) opened the weekend with a 9-0 victory against No. 19 Franklin & Marshall (1-3, 0-1 MASC) on Friday (Nov. 17) at the Mayser Center in Lancaster, Pa.

Junior Petr Nohel made his Cavalier debut, picking up a 3-0 victory at the four position. Nohel spent two years at Franklin & Marshall before transferring to UVA this fall.

Drew Barr had the most decisive victory of the match, picking up an 11-1, 11-0, 11-1 win at eight against Juan Hinostroza.

This was the Cavaliers’ second 9-0 victory against a fellow Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference team this season.
