- Went 2-3 at No. 1 in the first two months of the season, but all three losses were in close five-game contests against players from No. 1 Penn, No. 2 Harvard and No. 10 Dartmouth

- MASC Men’s Rookie of the Year, the second player in program history to earn the honor
- First Team All-MASC
- Finished the season 12-8 with a 7-2 record at No. 4
- Tallied his first collegiate career win at the two spot over Navy’s Matt Wang
- Recorded a win over Drexel’s Yuri Pollak Pelbart in four games to help UVA to an 8-1 win over No. 7 Drexel
- Went 3-0 to help UVA clinch their fourth MASC Championships
- Tallied a 3-0 win over Yale’s Tad Carney in the CSA Team Championships
