CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia field hockey junior Noa Boterman was named to the 2023 NFHCA Division I All-America Second Team, as announced Tuesday (Dec. 12) by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.

Boterman was named a member of the All-ACC second team with 19 points on eight goals and three assists. She also led the ACC and ranked fourth in the nation with five defensive saves. She scored two goals, including the game-winner, in the ACC Quarterfinal win against Syracuse and logged her ACC-leading fifth defensive in the NCAA Quarterfinal win at Maryland.

This is her first All-America recognition.

This is the 63rd All-American honor earned by a Cavalier in the program’s history and the 18th consecutive year that at least one Virginia player has been named to an All-American team.
