Chervinsky/Collard Named ACC Doubles Team of the Week

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –  Virginia women’s tennis juniors Elaine Chervinsky and Mélodie Collard have been named the ACC Doubles Team of the Week in honors announced Tuesday (Feb. 6) by the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Chervinsky and Collard topped Jaedan Brown and Kari Miller of Michigan 6-2 on the top doubles court last Saturday (Feb. 3). Brown and Miller were ranked No. 8 in the ITA Doubles Rankings. It was the second top-10 victory of Chervinsky’s doubles career and the third for Collard.

This is the first weekly conference honor for Collard. Chervinsky was named the ACC Freshman of the Week during her 2022 rookie season.
