CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday (Feb. 6) that Morgan Schwab of the Virginia women’s lacrosse team has been named to the 2024 Preseason All-ACC team as an at-large selection.

A second-team All-ACC selection in 2023, Schwab was named a co-captain ahead of the 2024 season and enters the campaign with 64 goals and 98 assists, the sixth-highest assist total in program history. She was named a preseason All-America honorable mention by USA Lacrosse Magazine in January.

Virginia is set to open the 2024 season Friday (Feb. 9) when the 16th-ranked Cavaliers travel to Liberty for a 4 p.m. opening draw. The team opens its home slate at Klöckner Stadium on Sunday (Feb. 11) when Virginia hosts Stanford at 1 p.m.
