Cavalier Invite Set for this Weekend at UVA’s AFC
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia swimming & diving team will host the fourth annual Cavalier Invite Friday (Feb. 9) through Sunday (Feb. 11) at the Aquatic and Fitness Center. The program follows the NCAA Championships prelim/finals format and includes all NCAA Championship events. Finals will consist of two finals heats, a consolation final (places 9-16) and a championship final (places 1-8).
Fans attending the meet can park in the East Lot at Scott Stadium.
UVA will be one of 11 teams competing in the three-day meet. The other programs include Duke, George Washington, Johns Hopkins, North Carolina, South Carolina, St. Bonaventure, Army, UNC Wilmington, Richmond and William & Mary.

• Live results will be available on Meet Mobile.
• Prelims will begin at 11 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Finals are set for 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
ABOUT THESE HOOS
• The Virginia women are ranked No. 1 in the current CSCAA poll while the UVA men stand 20th.
• The Cavaliers will have the chance to swim season-best times this weekend before heading to Greensboro, N.C., for the 2024 ACC Championships.
• Virginia’s women have posted 11 individual NCAA “A” standard times and in four relay events and NCAA “B” times in all 13 swimming events.
• The UVA men have NCAA “B” times in 11 of individual swimming events and three relays.
