CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Senior Alex Walsh has been named the ACC Women’s Swimmer of the Week as announced Tuesday (Feb. 13) by the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Walsh’s two swims at last weekend’s Cavalier Invitational both ranked in the top five in the nation this year. She went 57.89 in the 100 Breaststroke, an AFC pool-record time, that is tied for fifth in the country. She posted a 1:50.18 in a time trial for the 200 Backstroke, which puts her second in the NCAA this season.
