CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 24 Virginia women’s golf team kicks off Spring Break week by traveling to Las Vegas to play in The Show on March 4-5 at Spanish Trail Country Club. The 13-team field will play 36 holes on Monday and a single round Tuesday. Play begins at 8 a.m. MT each day.

The field features host schools (NCAA ranking) UNLV and Furman, Purdue (27), UCLA (3), Pepperdine (23), Tulsa (39), Houston (31), New Mexico, SMU (29), TCU, Minnesota and Nevada.

The Cavaliers’ lineup includes Amanda Sambach, Megan Propeck, Jaclyn LaHa, Celeste Valinho and Rebecca Skoler. Jennifer Cleary will compete as an individual. Sambach, who is ranked No. 4 in the latest NCAA rankings, leads UVA with a 70.55 stroke average. She has finished in the top-10 in five of Virginia’s six tournaments this season and was the runner-up at the San Diego State Classic in the Cavaliers’ last event.
