PHILADELPHIA – The No. 10 Virginia men’s squash team (10-9) suffered a 7-2 loss against No. 2 Princeton (10-2) on Friday (March 1) in the quarterfinals of the 2024 CSA National Collegiate Squash Team Championships) at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia, Pa.

Sophomore JP Tew logged a 7-11, 12-10, 11-6, 11-9 win against Hollis Robertson at position two and junior Petr Nohel won 13-11, 11-7, 12-10 against Avi Agarwal at six.

With the loss, the Cavaliers drop into the consolation bracket to determine the 5-8 placings at the Potter Cup. Virginia will take on No. 6 Columbia (7-7) on Saturday at 11 a.m. in that bracket.

Columbia won the regular season meeting 7-2.
