PRINCETON, N.J. – Virginia junior Elizabeth Kaye put on an impressive performance to win her second consecutive 3-meter diving title at the NCAA Zone A Championships. Kaye topped the field with a score of 642.45, winning by 16 points at Princeton on Tuesday. She saved her best for last, picking up 63 points on her final dive during the final round.

Kaye has now qualified for two events at the 2024 NCAA Championships after finishing as the runner-up Monday in the 1-meter competition. She captured the 2023 3-meter title at West Virginia with a score of 683.90 after being the runner-up in 2022.

On Wednesday, Kaye will look for the NCAA qualification sweep when the platform competition takes place. Last year she advanced to the NCAA Championships in all three events.

UVA’s Morgan Manley placed 59th in Tuesday’s 3-meter diving with 205.70 points.

On the men’s side, Nick Sanders was 22nd in the 1-meter competition with a score of 280.60 while Dean Treanor was 46th with 240.20 points.
