CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – University of Virginia senior Kate Kelly was named to the inaugural 2024 CRCA Division Athlete to Watch, announced Tuesday (March 12). The CRCA Division I Athletes to Watch list consists of 20 rowers and three coxswains.
Kelly stroked the UVA Varsity Eight to an 11th-place finish at the 2023 NCAA Championship and runner-up showing at the ACC Championships. Kelly was named Pocock Racing Shells First-Team All-America and was a member of the ACC Honor Roll. Kelly also earned the UVA rowing Coach’s Award for Excellence.
The No. 10 Cavaliers open the 2024 spring season at the B1G/ACC Regatta on Saturday, March 30 on Griggs Reservoir in Columbus, Ohio.
