FROM HEAD COACH JOANNA HARDIN
“It was a frustrating night. We’re working on adjustments at the plate and it’s just not quite coming together right now and we’re not performing at what we’re capable of on offense. One run a game is tough on the pitching staff. Courtney gave us a chance with her first three innings and Madi just missed one pitch and they hit it out. We’ got to play a little cleaner and put more run support on the board. We’re going to get after it and be ready to go this weekend with Syracuse coming to town.”
ON DECK FOR THE HOOS
Virginia returns home for a three-game ACC series against Syracuse this weekend. Game one is set for a 3 p.m. first pitch on Friday (March 15).
