CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia women’s squash senior Meagan Best and sophomore Lina Tammam have earned All-America accolades in honors announced by the College Squash Association.

Best was named to the first team, while Tammam earned second-team honors.

Best, the only player in program history to be a first-team All-American, has earned the honor for the third time in her career. She played at the top of the ladder for the Cavaliers, earning the No. 2 seed in the CSA Individual National Championships Ramsay Cup.

Tammam played at the No. 2 position for the Cavaliers, going 12-7. She earned her first invitation to compete in the A-Division of the CSA Individual National Championships. She is the third individual in program history to be named and All-American, joining Best and Emma Jinks (2020, second team).
