No. 2 Virginia Hosts Boston College on Sunday at Noon
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 2 Virginia men’s tennis team (17-4, 9-0 ACC) hosts Boston College (5-11, 0-9 ACC) on Sunday (April 7) at 12 p.m. at the Virginia Tennis Facility at the Boar’s Head Resort.
Please note the match time for Sunday’s contest has been moved to 12 p.m. from its originally-scheduled time

SENIOR DAY
- Sunday is Senior Day with fourth-year Chris Rodesch, Jeffrey von der Schulenburg, Iñaki Montes and Alex Kiefer as well as grad student Edoardo Graziani and student-manager Jacob Hayley all being honored in a pre-match ceremony
- They will be honored on the court 10 minutes prior to the start of the match
NOTING THE CAVALIERS
- Virginia played a mid-week match at Virginia Tech, defeating the Hokies 6-1 on Wednesday in Blacksburg
- Virginia remained at No. 2 in the latest ITA Team rankings
- Senior Chris Rodesch moved to No. 6 in the ITA Singles Rankings
- Senior Iñaki Montes and grad student James Hopper moved up to No. 6 in the doubles rankings. Rodesch and senior Jeffrey von der Schulenburg are ranked No. 21
- Virginia has won 47 consecutive conference matches. Their last loss in a conference contest was Jan. 18, 2020 against Louisville
- Virginia has not lost an outdoor match since falling in the Round of 16 of the 2021 NCAA Championship
- UVA is 22-0 all-time against the Eagles
ON THE HORIZON
- Virginia closes out the regular season next week, playing at Clemson on Thursday, April 11 and at Georgia Tech on Sunday, April 13
