CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Ten members of the Virginia women’s squash team earned academic honors from the College Squash Association and the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference.

Megan Best, Griffin Dewey, Maureen Foley, Eliza Mills, Erin O’Connor and Olivia Walsh were recognized with CSA Scholar-Athlete Awards, which are granted to varsity juniors or seniors who have played on the team throughout their college careers, earned at least two varsity letters, participated in the majority of the team’s matches in the top 10 of the lineup during the season, and achieved a high academic standing at their institution. All six plus Nina Hashmi, Annabelle MacTaggart, Clare Minnis and Lina Tammam were named to the MASC All-Academic Team. To be eligible, student-athletes of any class year must maintain a 3.5+ cumulative GPA.
