CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia field hockey team plays Liberty in the first of its two preseason scrimmages on Sunday, Aug. 18 at noon in Lynchburg, Va.
The scrimmage is free and open to the public.
Virginia’s second scrimmage will take place on Saturday, Aug. 24, when the team hosts Richmond at Turf Field at 1 p.m.
The regular season opens on Friday, August 30, with a 4 p.m. match at Penn State.
