CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 3 Virginia field hockey team (1-0, 0-0 ACC) hosts Temple (2-0, 0-0 Big East) on Friday, Sept 6 at 5 p.m. at Turf Field in Charlottesville, Va.

Virginia will close out the weekend by playing at No. 11 Liberty (2-0, 0-0 Big East) on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. in Lynchburg, Va.

  • The Cavaliers are No. 3 in the preseason NFHCA Coaches Poll
  • Virginia opened the season with a 2-1 win last Friday at No. 16 Penn State
  • The Cavaliers held a 13-0 advantage in shots in the first half against the Nittany Lions and finished the game with a 24-6 edge
