  • UVA has not defeated Maryland at Scott Stadium since 2008 (31-0).
  • Last season, UVA led Maryland, 14-0, in the first quarter before surrendering 42 unanswered points.

The comeback victory was UVA’s largest since trailing Louisville by 17 after three quarters in 2021.
