Virginia in Fourth After 36 Holes at Stanford Intercollegiate

Jaclyn LaHa leads the team in fourth place, just two strokes off the leader

STANFORD, Calif. — The No. 12 Virginia women’s golf team is in fourth place after the opening 36 holes after a 3-over 287 second round on Saturday (Oct. 19) at the Stanford Golf Course. The Cavaliers were led by Jaclyn LaHa who posted 3-under 68 and moved into fourth on the individual leaderboard.

LaHa has shot 4-under 138 for the tournament in a tie for fourth individually, just a pair of strokes off the leader, Vivian Lu (Washington). LaHa carded four birdies on her second 18 to post her lowest round of the season.

Amanda Sambach recorded 1-over 72 while Kennedy Swedick and Chloe Schiavone came in at 2-over 73 and 3-over 74 respectively.

The third round will begin with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. (ET) on Sunday (Oct. 20).
