CHARLOTTESVILLE Va. — The bracket and seeds for the 2024 ACC Men’s Soccer Championship were announced Friday evening following the conclusion of regular-season play. Virginia will be the No. 9 seed in the 15-team tournament and will travel to Raleigh, N.C. on Wednesday (Nov. 6) to take on eighth-seeded NC State.

Wednesday’s first-round match will air on The ACC Network with kickoff set for 8 p.m.

Virginia (8-5-3, 3-3-2 ACC), NC State (8-3-5, 3-3-2 ACC) and Note Dame (7-4-5, 3-3-2) each finished on 11 points in a three-way tie for the eighth seed in the tournament. The Wolfpack claimed the eighth seed and the right to host the first-round matchup on goal differential in league play.

The winner of Wednesday’s first-round meeting will advance to take on top-seeded Pitt on Sunday (Nov. 10). The Panthers earned the tournament’s lone bye as the league’s top seed.

  • Wednesday’s match will mark the first meeting between the two programs in 2024
