No. 4 Virginia Sweeps No. 11 Tufts

SPRINGFIELD, Va. –  The No. 4 Virginia men's squash team (9-2) swept No. 11 Tufts (7-4) on Saturday (Jan. 17) in neutral-site action at The St. James.

The Cavaliers dropped just one game across the nine-match slate. In the exhibition match, sophomore Isaac Mitchell battled to a 3-2 victory.

CAVALIER NOTES

• Sophomore Juan Jose Torres Lara (8-0) and freshman Matthew Dayle (5-0) remain undefeated on the year.
• Juniors Dylan Moran and Krishna Mishra are tied for the team lead in victories with nine apiece.
• Senior Patrick Keller picked up his first win of the season playing at position nine.
• This was Virginia's fourth sweep of the season.

• The Cavaliers continue their road weekend, taking on No. 7 Drexel in Philadelphia on Sunday (Jan. 18) at 2:30 p.m.
