Cavaliers Seek Second Straight Win in Quick Turnaround, Host Dartmouth Monday

Opening faceoff from Klöckner Stadium is set for 7 p.m. on ACC Network and WINA (98.9 FM/1070 AM)

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — In its second game in the previous three days, Virginia (4-4) hosts Dartmouth (4-3) on Monday (March 23) in its final non-conference game before a four-game ACC stretch. Opening faceoff from Klöckner Stadium is set for 7 p.m. on ACC Network and WINA (98.9 FM/1070 AM).

Monday's game is dedicated to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (BRAFB), whose mission is to improve food security through equitable access to good nutrition and the resources that support health and well-being. BRAFB has four distribution centers located in Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Winchester, and the Verona headquarters. Its service spans 25 counties and eight cities.

A WIN FOR THE CAVALIERS WOULD...

  • Give UVA its first two-game win streak of the 2026 season.
  • Pull the Hoos above .500 on the season.
  • Be their first at Klöckner Stadium since defeating Lafayette 13-8 on April 19, 2025.
  • Also mark UVA’s third home victory across as many venues, having already defeated Colgate (Feb. 8), 19-14, at the George Welsh Indoor Football Practice Facility and Utah (March 21), 16-11, at Scott Stadium, the home of UVA football.
  • Be UVA's fourth consecutive over an Ivy League opponent, a streak that began in 2022 with a 17-10 NCAA Tournament first-round road win over No. 8 seed Brown. The last time UVA lost to any Ivy league foe was at Brown on March 8, 2020, which proved to be the season finale as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Give UVA its ninth consecutive win of the Dartmouth series, a win streak that dates back to 1963.
  • Be Virginia's 53rd all-time win under the Klöckner Stadium lights. The Cavaliers are 52-13 all-time in night games at Klöckner Stadium, including 14-5 under head coach Lars Tiffany.
