NCAA Swimming Championships Begin Wednesday in Atlanta

The Cavalier men qualified four relays and six individuals for the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships being held March 25-28 in Atlanta, Ga.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia is competing at the 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships, March 25-28, at the McCauley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Ga.

The six swimmers earned nine individual event qualifications. The Cavaliers will also compete in four relays (200 Free, 400 Free, 800 Free and 400 Medley). 

Prelims will be at 10 a.m. each day with finals at 6 p.m. All sessions will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

NEW THIS YEAR

  • Only the top 8 (A Final) swim at night. 9th–16th place is decided by morning prelim times, which will now be scored as "timed finals"
  • Event awards ceremonies will take place after the last event concludes each night

HOW TO FOLLOW

  • All sessions will be streamed live on ESPN+ (subscription required)
  • Live scoring will be available on the Meet Mobile app and through a link posted on VirginiaSports
