CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia's Kaitlyn Rolls has been named the ACC Women's Tennis Freshman of the Week in honors announced Tuesday (March 24) by the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Rolls went 2-0 in singles over the weekend, helping the Cavaliers improve to 6-0 in conference play with wins at Florida State and Miami. She notched a 6-3, 6-0 win over Florida State's Tina Li on Friday, followed by a 7-5, 6-3 victory against Miami's Sebastianna Scilipoti on Sunday.
Rolls leads the Cavaliers in dual match singles victories with eleven.
This is her first weekly conference honor.
