No. 24 Virginia Hosts No. 10 BC Saturday on Senior Day

The Cavaliers will honor their 10 seniors in a pregame ceremony at 12:40 pm before the 1 pm draw in the final home game of the season

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The No. 24 Virginia women's lacrosse team (6-8, 4-4 ACC) hosts No. 10 Boston College (8-5, 5-3 ACC) on Saturday, April 10 at 1 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium in Charlottesville, Va.

  • Admission is free for all regular-season home games at Klöckner Stadium
  • The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN U

  • We will honor our 10 seniors and grad students in a pregame ceremony set to begin at 12:40 pm

GAME NOTES

  • Junior midfielder Kate Galica won 15 draw controls last Friday against UNC. The 15 draws ties the second most in a single game in program history, and was the third time in her career that she won 15 or more draws in a game
  • Galica comes into the game with 390 career draw controls, which ranks fifth on the ACC career draws list
  • Galica also leads the team in scoring with 28 goals this season. She has scored at least one goal in each of the last 11 games
  • Galica comes into the game with 96 career goals, four shy of hitting the 100 career goal benchmark
  • Junior attacker Madison Alaimo ranks 14th in the nation in assists with 34 this season
  • Alaimo has 119 career assists, 10 shy of moving into a tie for second place on the UVA career assist list
  • Virginia leads the all-time series against the Eagles 15-12
  • This is the Cavaliers' sixth game this season against a Top 10 team

  • Virginia closes out the regular season on Thursday, April 16, at Virginia Tech. First draw is set for 6 p.m.
