LaHa Leads the Field Through 32 Holes at Terps Invitational

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Third-year Jaclyn LaHa shot 3-under 141 to lead the field through the opening 32 holes at the Terps Invitational. The Cavaliers are in first place as a team after combining to shoot 3-under 573 in the opening two rounds.

After shooting a first-round 2-over 75, LaHa responded with a 5-under 67 on her second round posting six birdies and just one bogey on her second 18. LaHa’s second-round 67 matched a career low and marked her fifth round in the sixties of the season.

All five Cavaliers finished in the top five on the individual leaderboard as Remi Bacardi tied for second after coming through the first two rounds at an even 144. Mira Berglund, Kennedy Swedick, and Elsie MacCleery all came in at 1-over 145 on the day.

Starting her day from hole five, Kennedy Swedick highlighted her day with an eagle on hole 1 to score an even-par 72 in her first round.

The final round on Monday (April 6) will begin with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Virginia will be paired with Kentucky and High Point.
