CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday (April 7) that Kendric Curry of the Virginia men's track and field team earned ACC Freshman of the Week honors after strong performance at the Virginia Grand Prix.
Kendric Curry won the men's pole vault at the Virginia Grand Prix clearing a new personal best of 5.01m/16-5.25. His mark ranks No. 9 all-time and No. 3 among freshman in program history. Curry currently sits at No. 12 and No. 3 among freshman in the ACC this season.

Curry is the third Cavalier to earn ACC weekly honors during the outdoor season alongside Will Daley and Charlotta Sandkulla.
