CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia's Kaitlyn Rolls has been named the ACC Women's Tennis Freshman of the Week in honors announced Tuesday (April 7) by the Atlantic Coast Conference.
This is her third consecutive week being named the ACC Freshman of the Week.
No. 82 Rolls has proved herself to be one of the Cavaliers' most consistent contributors as she once again notched two key singles victories over the weekend. She defeated No. 23 Cal's Mao Mushika, ranked No. 84 in the ITA singles rankings, in straight sets on Friday before cruising past Stanford's Caroline Driscoll 6-2, 6-4 on Sunday.
Rolls is on a seven-match win streak and has won 11 of her last 12 matches dating back to early February.
