CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia men’s basketball announced Wednesday (Oct. 7) game times and television designations for its 2026-27 schedule.
The Cavaliers will play 17 regular-season home games, including nine ACC contests, 10 road games and four neutral-site contests.
Home Schedule
The Cavaliers host Drexel (Nov. 3, 7:30 p.m., ACC Network), Northeastern (Nov. 6, 5 p.m., ACC Network), Bucknell (Nov. 10, 9 p.m., ACC Network), Old Dominion (Nov. 17, 9 p.m., ACC Network), Loyola Maryland (Nov. 20, 7 p.m., ACC Network), Kentucky (Dec. 2, 7:15 p.m., ESPN), Bethune-Cookman (Dec. 8, 7 p.m., ACC Network), Western Carolina (Dec. 13, Noon, The CW), SMU (Jan. 2, 6 p.m., ESPN/2), Boston College (Jan. 13, 8 p.m., The CW), Georgia Tech (Jan. 27, 8 p.m., The CW), Virginia Tech (Jan. 30, 6 p.m., ESPNU), Duke (Feb. 6, 6/6:30 p.m., ESPN), Notre Dame (Feb. 13, 2 p.m., ACC Network), Louisville (Feb. 15, 7 p.m., ESPN), Florida State (Feb. 27, 2 p.m., ESPN/2) and NC State (March 6, Noon, The CW). Virginia’s road schedule consists of games at Maryland (Nov. 13, 8 p.m., Peacock), Clemson (Dec. 29, 6 p.m., ESPN2), Stanford (Jan. 6, 9 p.m., ACC Network), California (Jan. 9, 4 p.m., ESPNU), Miami (Jan. 16, 6 p.m., ESPN/2), North Carolina (Jan. 19, 9 p.m., ESPN), Syracuse (Feb. 3, 9 p.m., ESPN2), Pittsburgh (Feb. 9, 7 p.m., ACC Network), Virginia Tech (Feb. 23, 7 p.m., ESPN2/U) and Duke (March 1, 7 p.m., ESPN). The Cavaliers’ exhibition contest at Villanova on Oct. 22 will not be streamed or televised.
Neutral-Site Schedule
The Cavaliers will battle Arkansas (Nov. 8, 1 p.m., ESPN) at the Capital Showcase in Washington, D.C. UVA faces Marquette (Nov. 25, Noon, ESPN) and Xavier (Nov. 27, 11 a.m., ESPN2) at the Battle 4 Atlantis in The Bahamas. UVA will play UConn (Dec. 20, 3 p.m., ESPN) at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Television Exposure
The Cavaliers will play 17 games on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU, nine contests on the ACC Network, four games on The CW and one contest on Peacock.

Mini-plans and November single-games are now on sale at uvatix.com. The four-game mini plan will feature the choice of Kentucky or Virginia Tech, two ACC games (excluding Duke), and one additional non-conference game of the fan’s choice. The December single-games will go on sale in late October. With ACC games going on sale in early December.

Virginia-Richmond Pepsi Exhibition Ticket/Parking Information
Virginia hosts Richmond in an exhibition contest on Friday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. General admission tickets for $18 are on sale at uvatix.com.
2026-27 men’s basketball season ticket members will receive their quantity of seats within their season ticket package at no additional cost for the Virginia-Richmond exhibition.
Courtside season ticket members will receive their number of seats within their season ticket package in the same process.
JPJ suite holders will receive separate communication from the Virginia Athletics Foundation regarding suite reservations.
Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Emmett/Ivy garage, JPJ garage, JPJ South, East and West lots, and The Park. Gates open at 6 p.m. Given the anticipated demand for premium seat locations, fans are encouraged to arrive early and park at The Park. A free fan shuttle will be available pregame and postgame at The Park, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Virginia battles Arkansas on Sunday, Nov. 8 in Washington, D.C. Tipoff at Capital One Arena is set for 3 p.m. Tickets for the Capital Showcase can be purchased online here.
