also rushed for 44 yards … was 16-of-26 passing for 192 yards and two touchdowns against William & Mary … also rushed seven times for 68 yards and one touchdown against the Tribe … named Co-ACC Played quarterback at Chandler High School for head coach Shaun Aguano and led the Wolves to the state championship in 2014, their first since 1949 … passed for 138 yards and a touchdown, and ran for 78 yards and two scores in the 2014 Division I state championship game … set an Arizona state high school record for single-season completion percentage, finishing the 2014 campaign at 74.6 percent (188-of-252) … passed for 3,001 yards, 46 touchdowns and only six interceptions in 2014 … also rushed for 697 yards with five rushing touchdowns in 2014 … finished his Chandler career completing 72.4 percent of his passes on 364-of-503 passing … connected for 70 career passing touchdowns with only 13 total interceptions … passed for 5,332 career yards and rushed for 1,609 career yards with 26 touchdowns … was named the 2014 American Family Insurance All-USA Arizona Division I Player of the Year … his father, Bruce, lettered at Arizona State in 1988 and 1989 as a fullback and later played briefly in the NFL … his uncle, Don Perkins, played eight seasons as a running back with the Dallas Cowboys … his brother, Paul, is currently a running back with the New York Giants … brother, Paul, was a three-year letterwinner at UCLA and faced Virginia in 2014 and 2015, as well as Bronco Mendenhall’s 2015 BYU team.
