- Brother Matthew plays in the NHL for the Florida Panthers (2022-present) after starting his career with the Calgary Flames from 2016 to 2021. He was a finalist for the Hart Memorial Trophy, (NHL MVP award). He was the 2023 All-Star Game MVP and won the Stanley Cup with the Panthers in 2024
