“Jack’s role this spring will be as a defensive midfielder.  As one of our best one-on-one defenders, regardless of length of stick, Jack has the ability to deny an opposing offense’s initial attempt to create.  Jack is proficient with a strong punch and good footwork.  He has a knack for anticipating the dodger’s move, quite possibly due to his own past success as an initiator.” 

2017
• Appeared in two of UVA’s 15 games
• Played at Johns Hopkins and against Cleveland State
• Picked up one ground ball against Cleveland State

2016
• Appeared in all 15 of UVA’s games at SSDM
• Finished season with nine ground balls
• Had a ground ball against Penn
• Had a ground ball and one CT against Syracuse

2015
• Appeared in all 15 of UVa’s games at SSDM
• Made collegiate debut at No. 7 Loyola
• Tallied 12 ground balls and caused three turnovers on the season
• Caused a career-high two turnovers against No. 4 Notre Dame
• Recognized on ACC Academic Honor Roll

HIGH SCHOOL
• Listed as the No. 67 recruit in the country by Inside Lacrosse
• Listed as the No. 24 incoming midfielder in the country by Inside Lacrosse
• Four-year letterwinner at Landon
• Team captain as a senior in 2014
• Member of the 2012 IAC Lacrosse championship team
• Won the team’s prestigious Khari Baten Award
• Played limited minutes in 2014 as he recovered from an injury
• Under Armour All-Star
• Also played football at Landon and earned three letters
• Three-year football starter at inside linebacker
• All-IAC first-team selection and a team captain in 2013
• Helped Landon win the 2013 IAC football championship
• Was high school teammates with current Cavalier Michael Rhoads

• Son of John Falk and Jacqueline Ryder
• Has one brother and three sisters
• Stepfather Rob Ryder played football at Cornell and was an All-Ivy honoree and a captain
